Attraction Attendant 

Attraction Attendants monitor and operate attractions safely while assuring a memorable visit for all guests.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all guests as they approach the attraction with a friendly smile and fun acknowledgement.

  • Assist guest awareness or questions on how to use attraction or gam, clarify and enforce all attraction safety rules.

  • Explain the attraction and rules in a fun, safe encouraging way.

  • Execute your role's guest service performance standards on a daily basis and ensure they are never compromised.

  • Notice opportunities and take action to facilitate social interactions with families.

  • Look for moments to surprise, engage guests with enthusiasm and go above and beyond using your own authentic personality.

  • Create and perform your own "signature move" and interact with guests on an  ongoing basis.

  • Responsible for general cleanliness of attraction and surroundings.

  • Operate and monitor attraction maintaining saftey and cleanliness at all times.

  • Assist guests with any special requests or special needs. Safety First.

  • When safety is in doubt, refrain from allowing more guests in/on attraction and  locate a manager.

  • Communicate with manager/owners any necessary maintenance or repair issues.

  • Follow all procedures regarding safety, injury, emergency situations that may occur while working your position.

  • Be knowledgeable about all other attractions and facilities to respond with accuracy  to all guest requests.

  • Report any misconduct of guests and/or employees to management immediately.   This includes stealing, damage of equipment/property, drug/alcohol use, etc.

  • Perform other duties assigned

Arcade/Ticket Sales Attendant

Check-in guests with a welcome and friendly smile, complete the entry transaction accurately and efficiently, informing guest of safety rules such as height and age requirements and upcoming activities and promotions directing for a smooth and hassle free entry into Kentucky Shores.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • WELCOME all incoming guests in a friendly manner (HUGE SMILES)

  • Greet the guests and then make assessment of their needs and inform and recommend the best package, promotion or bundle offer.

  • Answer multi-line telephone system promptly, answering all questions accurately.   Taking accurate messages.

  • Operate cash register, make change, process transactions accurately and in a timely  manner.

  • Being attentive to guest needs before they have to ask. Find ways to always say yes.

  • Execute your role's performance standards on a daily basis.

  • Notice opportunities and take action to facilitate social interaction with families.

  • Look for moments to surprise, engage guests with enthusiasm and go beyond using your own authentic personality.   

  • Create and perform your signature move and interact with guests on an ongoing basis.

  • Report any incidents of misconduct of customers or employees to management immediately.  This includes stealing, damage of property and drug and alcohol abuse.

  • Give tours of facility if needed and have knowledge of Kentucky Shores.

  • Assist guest in any way possible.

  • To ensure the absolute standards of Kentucky Shores

  • Communicates with management to maintain supplies for information desk.

  • Responsible for keeping arcade, front entrance, bathrooms, birthday party room and patio clean.

  • At the end of shift, doing a count down of drawer and balancing out.

Party Host

Party Host creates a safe, fun and personalized birthday parties, where the birthday child is the center of attention.  They ensure smiles, laughter, excitement, and positive emotions, resulting in meaningful memories that will last a lifetime.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, organizing, personalizing, and facilitating birthday parties that deliver a  safe, fun and active party for the children, value packed and hassle free for the parents.

  • Welcome all party guests with a smile, and review party format and agenda with parents.

  • Facilitate the party staging area while waiting for remaining guests.

  • Organize game or activity to keep guests interested and having fun while waiting.

  • Uncover personal favorites of the birthday child to include in the party.

  • Stay with the party the entire time.

  • Lead and facilitate children in safe, organized, fun, and unique games and activities.

  • Interact with children and parents throughout all phases of the birthday party while being prepared for the next group to arrive.

  • Prepare, assist with the smooth transition and set up of chosen attractions.

  • Facilitate serving, clearing and reset of entire party room celebration.

  • Ensure requested food is properly displayed and served within the party room.

  • Always interact and engage with guests.

  • Keep party room looking crisp, fresh and aesthetically pleasing at all times.

  • Always work with safety and cleanliness as top of mind at all times.

  • Finalize party balance and ensure that it is paid prior to departure of guests.

  • Report any misconduct of patrons/employees to management immediately.  This includes stealing, damaging of equipment or drug or alcohol use.

  • Notice opportunities to take action to facilitate social interactions with families.

  • Look for moments to perform your signature move and interact with guests on a regular basis.    

  • Perform other duties as required.

Experience

Prior experience working with children is great; recreation, camp or sports counselor, drama experience is a plus.
